Sunday - Going Home With A Side Trip To Bilar Town

It is time to go home.

Tomorrow is Monday and we need to be back to the City, for work

Thank you Lord for the good weather, but unfortunately, on our way to Carmen, we just feel so tired that M decided to take a rest and nap under the shade of a jackfruit tree while still at the town of San Miguel.

Sush did the same, she slept almost all the way to Bilar.

Am glad that upon arriving at Bilar, she woke up and we were able to take a picture for these two

So here' is Bilar, a town in Bohol with a man-made-forest famous for tourists to take a break.

When in Bohol, come and visit this place.

Four Days in Trinidad, Bohol

It was an unexpected visit to their Dada's hometown. It is called Trinidad, Bohol.

It happened even if we were not prepared because her Aunt, who helped raise her when she was younger passed away due to old age.

So off, they went ahead of me. It was still a Thursday when they left home, in Baclayon because burial will he held the day after.

Thankfully, M was able to take a leave for a few days.

Taking the kids to M's place was not easy. It was only on a motorbike, for more than 2 hours.

For many people, this may seem unacceptable and risky, but heck, we have done what we can raising these two, not in an ideal situation but sometimes even in ways unimaginable.

The thing is, we have survived and we have to make do with what's available. Sometimes, I took a bus, sometimes a motorbike with her, and sometimes we take a car with us.

At home, before they left.

Preparing to leave.

The dog at M's place.

Mother pigs and piglets.

Feeding her brood.

About to broil an eggplant for lunch.

Yoki, Tita Menera's beloved dog, taking a nap.

Sushi with cousin JayLord. He loved her dearly.

Cousin Jake, ensuring that charcoal is ready for the fish and eggplant.

Broiling Tilapia fish for lunch.

But most times, he can easily get dirty ;)

Natnat is happy here, yey! :)

Until next time, because Trinidad is HOME, too!

How Sush Have Grown

From this cute little thing of 2 days old to this little cranky of a child, how Sush has grown before our very eyes.

I pray to God that she will be used for HIS purpose that will bring joy into her life as well.

Just today, this second picture was taken by my neighbour friend, whom Sush call "Ate" and she is just really close to. I thank God for these girls who help us raise Sush when we are not at home to take care of her.

Nat Buying From A Store With A List ;)

My parents' house is close to the main highway where cars and other vehicles are speeding every minute.

But Nat, who is now five years old, can be trusted with a little responsibility so long as it is well explained to him and being careful with the place and the road.

This time around, I asked him to buy vinegar. To be sure I included a piece of paper with a note of "vinegar", just in case he will forget how to say it ;)

Before he sped off, he asked me for a sunglass, because he said it was too "hot" outside, LOL.

And thankfully, he came home with yes, a vinegar ;)

Mission accomplished :)

Happy New Year!

Aya's First Birhday!

We have attended Aya’s first birthday last December 13. It was held at Reyna’s the Haven and Gardens. It was meant for dinner and it was soo pink with lots of cute foods and stuff to entertain the eyes of children.

We, adults and children have fun :)

Second Home in Bingag

Nat and Sush have many places to call home. I'm trying to train them to see it that way. I don't know if I am doing the right thing or not. I'm so sure that they love my sister's house. Because it is spacious, clean, there are tablets that they can borrow, and it is just the perfect place for them to stay.

Three days after Sush's birthday, they were there. Nat, Sush, Awing, and Yohan were happily inside one of the rooms, playing, as most cousins usually do.

Grateful for this moment.

Home At Saycons ~

There are moments when my babies are feeling comfortable by staying at Saycon's home. My sister's home. The house is huge and the backyard is just safe for them to play. I'm happy when they are there but also nervous if they may end up breaking some things in their house.

I'm more at peace when they are enjoying someone's tab though ;)

Momo Beach ~

A day after Sush's birthday there were leftover foods needing our attention.

For many months, I have been dreaming of seeing how Momo beach look like after a friend recommended this place.

Finally, our chance to visit the place. It was fun because of the floating dock or bridge. A child would be happy to experience the wobbly walk because of the wave.

They just need to be assisted to avoid accidents. However, the water quality in the area of Momo is not as clear as the other beaches of Bohol. It was full of floating dead seaweeds and muddy too. I cannot tell for sure if it was because of the monsoon or something like that, or if it was how Momo beach really is, the whole year round.

Would I go back to Momo?

Not very soon. The place is only good for when you have your own car for comfort, especially if with children.
