His First Movie Ever ~

 

Today Nat and I went to ICM to watch the movie 'Song of the Fireflies'. The movie was something I can anticipate when it comes to the theme and how it may appear. It was important for me not to miss it because the movie is something that a Boholana like me can be proud of. It was all about how the Loboc Children's Choir originated.

Two reasons why I excitedly decided to watch it even if it was not mandatory:

1) I miss the cinema, the feeling of watching the big screen (not Netflix).

2) I want Nat to experience it himself, it was his first and this may not be available someday

It was not easy to accomplish since the movie would start at 7:30AM, and so we have to be at the City before that. We left home at around 6:30AM so gladly we still have enough time to be there and find some chips to go with our movie time. We bought food at 7eleven Task Us building.  It was a combination of unhealthy ones to entertain our palate while watching ;)

I only hope that Nat was able to appreciate even just a little of it, even if it was not meant for a 6-year-old. LOL :)

BQ Malling and Strolling ~

 

 

 

 

Bohol Quality (BQ) is one of the malls in our City. I love the moments I spent with them roaming around, even if that means not even buying anything.

But then again, sometimes I really need to have even a few pesos, even if it just means – for ice cream :)

When everything becomes too much at home, I will long for peace. A peaceful place. Almost a forest, LOL. :D

And it happens that M and Sushi went home to Trinidad so I decided to take my own "little vacation" with Nat. 

What could be better than the Lagkaw Nature Inn in Alicia, Bohol. Its ambience is something I have been dreaming of. Thankfully, it was there at the right time. Perfect!

Kids have a way of pushing us beyond our limits, revealing strengths we never knew we had — and that’s an incredible discovery within ourselves.

My Favorite Scene ~

 

This year 2025, both Nat and Sush has are in school. Nat is now in Grade 1 at City Central while Sush is in Nursery at BORSIMA. 

And this has been my favorite scene. Them donned in school uniform or just ready for school.

Sush has requested for a lipstick. At 3, she is now very assertive and she wants to get her way when she wanted something.

Me and Nat had an awkward date yesterday. Compelled to buy chicken for the next day’s meals, we decided to go to Tabalong, a village, 2 kilometers away from home.

I also bought one fried chicken for his dinner.

 We allowed ourselves to indulge our sweet tooth on desserts. He got coke float small for Php29.00 while I had my Halo halo for Php49.00. These came from GH Refreshment Parlor, just beside Crispy King, fronting Tabalong National High School.

 It was a short moment of just talking but he keeps on moving around, looking for something to occupy his time. Maybe his Mama is too boring :)

 

Tinang Brenda's December 2024 Gift :)

 

 

The gift that Nat and Sush received from Tinang Brenda gave them thrill. Definitely, this scooter will take them to distances and places they wanted to go within the neighborhood. I'm so grateful for Brenda's generous heart. She always showered the kids with gifts especially during Christmas.
