Any time I got, I go for sundaes, sorbetes, or anything sweet and cold to lap at.
Having this habit as an adult is so hard not to pass on to my two kids. So wherever we are, if we happen to pass by a 7-Eleven branch, we stop and grab one.
Today, I have no choice but to send them home on their own via a Habal-habal (motorcycle taxi).
Even if our place is not rural or mountainous, habal-habal is available even at the City proper.
For the whole week, Nat’s classes is only for half day because their teacher will be busy for the ‘King and Queen’ preparations during afternoon. He is done with classes every 11AM.
I have no choice because Sushi’s classes ends at 10AM too.
So for the first time, I just have to pray for their safety and send them home, trusting the driver.
They need to have a strong heart, early in their lives.
Yes, I am worried, but I trust that God will take care of them :’(
How pretty Sushi looks here! :)
Thankful for Ate Apple who prepared a light make up for her
pictorial at school :)
Nat has a class today even if it is a Saturday. It has been
scheduled to make up for the ‘NO CLASSES’ days since December due to typhoons. Their
teacher even announced a PTA meeting by 2:30PM and the release of grades too.
This falls on a Valentine’s Day!
I was not expecting anything. Valentine’s Day to me is just
a normal day, nothing special, nothing extraordinary. Or maybe, I am not just used
to it.
Instead, M surprised me and Sush of a gift. How sweet!
She
also bring some more that we have enough to give, even to my sisters.
In the afternoon, I’m excited to hopefully give M a treat of ‘Beef Sate’ at Harbour City ICM. I was hoping that she would like it being hot and spicy.
Unfortunately, she was not feeling well and the rain did not
stop, so Sush and I decided to just fetch Nat from school and take a TVS on the
way to the City.
Nat was already waiting at school when we arrived. He looked
uninterested. He looked tired. LOL.
Most of the time, we can’t even find him because he is just
really playing at the playground and there are different locations of his place
to play.
I decided to take them for a Valentines Date at Sunburst. Sush is very noisy and can’t keep her mouth shut. We just ordered a little food to munch on.
Surprisingly, they feast on the fried chicken. I find Sunburst’s chicken to be REALLY good! I would like to come back there, just for it ;)
So, it was an unforgettable day for me. Not easy, but possible.
Thankful for their age when I can now take them anywhere, even if it is always challenging to do so.
Nat has registered for the Scouting event this year. As a Kab Scout, I was again on my edge because I forgot where his things are like the "kabaw-kabaw" which serves as the neckerchief slide.
Gone was the belt that he used to have the last time, too. Wow, I am some kind of a chaotic Mama. I have no choice but to buy a new one for the missing things he need as part of his uniform.
So it was kind of worrying for me. The torch is the hardest of all to make.
Grateful to M, for stepping up! She made the torch while I repaired the shorts at Plaza Rizal :D
