Can't Go Anywhere On a Sunday

We are supposed to go to church today.

Unfortunately, Sush has fever, Nat has accidental burn on his left arm from what happened at my work place.

I asked Sush to open her mouth so I can see what causes her discomfort. And because I want to play Doctor myself, I guess Sush has Herpangina (if google pic is enough for me to diagnose).

To add discomfort, my period is here to annoy me. 

I can't seem to force going there or I might have to deal with an irate and screaming children. 

So we just have to be at home and hopefully recover from all these discomforts. 

Amarah Elise's First Birthday ~

 

We were invited for an exciting night of celebration for Amarah Elise's first birthday party (September 17). So the kids were included in the invitation, thanks to Brenda's generous heart.

Children were given Jollibee foods, their favorite, with spaghetti and chicken.

While most of us adults were enjoying the dishes, lechon and sweets. Amarah's birthday was held at Seafront Sepo Grill & Restaurant at V. Inting Avenue, Tagbilaran City. It was our first time to grace the place. It was held on a dinner time, so we were not able to grace the beach-front area.

Maybe next time.

We are again grateful for Amarah's parents for the invitation. The kids were happy. :)

 

Church, We Miss You!

 

It has been a while since I attended church or mass for that matter. The place where we live does not have a public transport to begin with.

But I miss the “churchy” feel or the comfort that church brings to my soul.

So yesterday, I tried doing it again with my babies.

It was not easy when my little girl wants to dance in the middle of the church.

While Nat was quite outspoken when he complained “THAT IS NOISY!”, when he hears the bell rung…

Just the same, I am thankful to be back and I hope I can do it again every Sunday.

Our spiritual life needs nourishment too..
